The Live Free Golf Tour in New Hampshire has announced its 2023 schedule, featuring 11 events leading up to the playoffs. The LFGT is open to male and female amateur golfers of all ages and was founded in 2016 by Chad Lawrence, director of golf at the Seth Dichard Golf Center in Hudson.
The LFGT provides an opportunity for weekend golfers with competitive aspirations to participate in net stroke-play tournaments and earn points towards the tour champion title. This year’s events are scheduled to be played in New Hampshire, with the possibility of one event being held in Maine. The LFGT maintains a good relationship with the New Hampshire Golf Association, and many players participate in both tours. Lawrence hopes to maintain a comfortable number of participants, with an average of 40 to 50 players per event. The LFGT is also offering a season-long match-play tournament this year for a $25 entry fee.
